Anyhoo, to your question: things to take into consideration are insurance (as has been oft repeated,) and maintenance.

Don't know what kind of income you have to throw around, but if you're budget-minded, and just need wheels to get from Point A to Point B, no frills, you have a ton of options by way of 4 cylinder econo cars (Honda Civic, Toyota Tercel, Nissan Sentra, etc. etc. etc.)

s60 t5 all the way. Ensure proper maintenance intervals if over 100k, check motor mounts (one of them shits out on 850r's, idk which but it's a bitch to replace and causes machinegun-like throttle)

Best sounding motors from volvo IMO and will take a hard beating. Can't speak for their awd system

fyi buy one that's stock and well maintained. People like to think these are racecars and plastidip their Pegs and beat the shit out of them, so beware.
