Any of you "truckers" ever look into driving for UPS?

Survived my first road side inspection.
Made my mechanic come all the way there to adjust 1 break.... Kind of dumb and not necessary but he did let all the "nit picky" stuff go.

You mean United box smashers?

Fucking hate UPS with a passion.... Cock suckers break everything I ship... But, fedex does the same shit, they just charge more to throw a box around.

Pretty sure your allowed 20% of your brakes to be out of adjustment before he can put you out of service

Why didn't you adjust it yourself? Takes two seconds with a ratchet

Really? I've had problems with Fedex, but never UPS.. USPS fucks shit up too..

Also, it's a pain in the ass to get a job at UPS, they pay GREAT, union benefits, PTO, all the OT you could ask for.. But a lot of heavy lifting..... I have 2 friends that had to retire early because of back injuries from working at UPS. One was a driver, and one worked in the facility loading the trucks.

Vouch.

At this point I just use ups because they are cheaper than fedex and get the job to the client 99% of the time. I have more issue with fedex returning shit to me 2 weeks later because they "couldn't find the address"

Anything freight (500+ lbs or palatalized) I use local delivery companies for. They are usually cheaper and don't have a tendency to wreck shit quite as bad.

we ship perishable flowers every day via fedex because they give us a special "cal flowers" rate

99/100 we dont have an issues.
