Awesome.  Someone from up your way was wondering if you took over the restaurant and remodeled it? I'm glad to hear things are going well for you my friend.

Absolutely not. My mother renamed it and started a remodel but decided it wasn't worth it and she was doing most of it alone, practically killing herself. She's getting ready to sell the business now.

Hope all's well with you. Been gone for a while. Finish that project you had going? I believe it was another Camaro but you were working on a buddy's Vette iirc?

Oh those projects are long gone. My Formula has a nice forged low compression stroker in it but it's on ice. I also have a H/C T/A now as a driver/toy. i can't complain about anything.

A dream car is the car you'd chose if money was absolutely no object what so ever, if a magic genie or an Arab oil sheikh billionaire granted you the gift of any car in the world fully insured and lifetime petrol supply on the condition that you are NOT allowed to sell it but HAVE to keep it.. What would that one car be?

It would be either a '93 Toyota Supra or a '99 Nissan S15.

I have been dreaming of driving any of those two cars since a very long time, especially the Supra. Back when I was very young, my grandfather used to talk to me for hours about how he was depressed and wasn't having any pleasure in life following the death of his father, and how purchasing a Supra helped him regain strength and doing what he loved the most, driving. Until then, I've been telling myself I would get one, and that in doing so, I would not only thank him for helping me all these years, but also prove myself that I would be able to achieve things that I would've fiercely fought for.

Judging dreams depending on how much money they cost to realize doesn't make sense at all, in all honesty and without offense. You need to review your capitalistic values. A dream is determined on how much emotion an individual displays about something, and how much he's willing to sacrifice to attain this goal, it's not about being depressed about the fact that the chances you'll end up fulfilling this dream are about as high as getting hit by lightning.

Damn. That looks surprisingly functional.

Trust me... We've got more plans for the metro.

Most of my buddies work on the rigs on/off shore so it's rare that we all get together now. Next spring there are two weeks strait where all of us are in town.

We've already made plans to put ranch hands and XD wheels on a metro lol. I've already got plenty of experience with converting coupes to verts so I'm sure a hatch to truck bed wont be too bad lol.

I need a new DD in houston. Something i can just not give two fucks about when the dick in the prius decides to cut me off and then proceed on driving 30mph under the speed limit.

Why does a dream car have to cost over a million dollars? My dream four door is an RS7, which is far cheaper than some four-doors. I'd rather have a Carrera GT3 or an R8 then most super-cars over $250,000. If money was no object, I'd buy a 918, a diesel Cayenne S, and a RS7. It wouldn't be "the most expensive" cars.

Only a few people said "realistic dream car", and even if they'd pick a different car, those realistic dream cars are still dream cars.

It doesn't have to cost a million dollars, but many people "limit" themselves to cars that are affordable instead of actually dreaming big. I just find it hard to believe some one would actually chose a 67' Chevy or '95 Subaru or some Toyota if they truly had the option of picking a 918 Spyder, La Ferrari, Mclaren P1, Koenigsegg, Pagani Huayra, etc... I know its all subjective and some might actually prefer old / cheap cars but my point is whenever I ask some one IRL they immediately change their minds to something cost 5-50 times more and say "oh well if I had all the money in the world.."

My "realistic" dream car would be an Audi A5 or even Audi A7 (but that might be pushing it, hehe)

ultimate dream car list (billionaire garage)

1. Koenigsegg Agera R/One:1
2. Nissan GT-R
3. Rolls Royce Phantom / Wraith / Ghost / Coupe
4. Lamoborghini Sesto Elemento / Egoista
5. Maybach 57 / 62 / Laundulet
6. Aston Martin One 77
7. Mclaren P1
8. Mercedes 6x6 AMG
9. LaFerrari
10. Pagani Huayra

And I'd have multiple interior/exterior combinations... Materialistic as phuck hehehe :santa:

Dreaming is free, so why not dream big? That's like saying, you shouldn't dream of playing in the NBA, NFL og English Premier League, because you'll never be a world class football/basket ball player. "You should dream of becoming a 'regular' lawyer, accountant or doctor because at least you'll achieve that goal" I won't be depressed if I never get my Koenigsegg, Rolls Royce and Maybachs, just like I won't be depressed if I end up getting an average 9-5 job earning below six-figures when my ultimate goal/dream in life is to be among the FORBES 400 and a plutocratic hedge fund manager / investment banker

Edit: but t hat's cool, if you'd really take an S15 or Supra over ANY super/hypercar of your choice then I won't judge ya. To me it just seems like choosing a two star hotel over a five star hotel. Or airplane food over a quality beef steak. Or choosing to still sit in an economy class seat instead of a free upgrade to First Class from Fly Emirates or Qatar Airways.

They say don't meet your idol because they will disappoint you.

Word from me:

Don't drive or own your dream car, it will disappoint you.
