Who's kit are you going to use? Are you staying with the stock bottom end?

2k+ for about 1 axle, then emergency brake wich is usually around 900-1000.

And yeah going to throw 12 lbs with the stock rod bolts, try and short shift it. If it holds together for a season I'll be happy. But still no idea on which kit to go with

Huron speed makes good stuff. They have very good customer service as well. I'd keep it at 8-9lbs on 93 without meth and keep the timing low. It will still make 525-550whp at least. 12lbs on 93 is pushing the piston ringlands over the edge imo. If the rings were re-gapped 12lbs and a 5800-6000rpm shift point would be good with 12-13 degrees of timing.

Huron Speed was great to deal with when I ordered my longtubes. The fitment kinda sucked to be honest, and the gaskets and clamps they provided were garbage. Apparently they're redesigned and fixed that now though.

That was a box stock item though right? Not something they fabbed?

Edit: if you wanted good fitment you would have payed the $1200 for kooks or ARH lol
