i have the utmost respect for what a 5.0 can do. I drove a stock 3.73 car into the 12.60's 2 years ago. I know a lot about both cars. You only know the mustang. Quit trying to make this personal. I didn't buy my Camaro to race anything. I know it's fat and i don't care.

I estimated your car at 3650lbs. His car is 3150. Thats a 500lb difference. If you have equal power that is a 5 tenth of a second advantage in the 1/4 mile. Most people even with bolt ons and a tune will not hit 11s
Some cars are just freaks and some drivers can really drive the piss out of them
When they tune a 5.0 it's almost like putting a mild cam in it thanks to the VVT. His number is about right on a dynojet.
The stock Z06 record on stock tires is 11.78. I've personally watched a guy go into the 11.90's with a stock one at my local track. The DA was around 1000ft so he wasn't even in perfect conditions. He was on a drag radial though. Ride's headers and mid pipe should bring him up 25-30whp after a tune. The car should be capable of 11.50's with a tire on the back. These faggles think a stock stall auto mustang is a 50/50 race with it.
