It's the same motor as previous gens. If it had the fa20 that the WRX has, I'd say he should've waited. But with the same motor as prev gens, I'd say he made the right move. The hawkeye's are the best looking gen IMO.

From top to bottom: Wideband A/F, Oil Pressure, and Boost. Also bought a vent clip off of E / bay ($8) to mount my V3 Accessport.

The standard 3M mount just kept falling off where I had it mounted originally if the sun was out.

AEM Cold air intake came in, so I installed that and my HKS SSQ IV Blow off valve.

(Yes, I had the instructions out in order to figure out where to put the rubber strips onto the heat shield, that ish was confusing).

The stock intake on our cars is better until you're making BIG hp.... You're going to do more damage than good with that thing.

I don't want the 2.0, plus the side view mirrors look stupid, and the car looks, overall, like the new Impreza. But with a spoiler. It's ugly.

Plus they have a twin scroll turbo now and equal length headers. I enjoy my boxer sound, so I'm sticking with this year model.

I will be dyno'ing it next week. The tune shop recommends a cold air intake, though most come in with a Cobb SF Intake, I prefer the look and location of the AEM. Plus it has much better proven gains.

AND, it's wrinkle red. Style points! I don't want any blue in my engine compartment.

Finally got my Hella Horns in.



Undoing the nuts on the back was a royal pain in the arse, even with soaking in WD-40. Gashed my finger open when the ratchet slipped off the bolt <_<

Centering and preparing the harness.



Did a great job with the wire tuck ^_^

One more week on the exhaust, then it's off to Revolutions Performance in Colorado Springs for a tune :zzz:

Also got my Circuit Sports lugs in the mail, but they sent the wrong color. Awaiting exchange (sent black, I want blue).
