oh and that sucks sopranos. was your car even paid off?

it was financed, so theyll write a check for 38k, which is the cars total, and itll go to paying it off and then as a downpayment. payments should be roughly the same monthly.

well the insurance company wont give you what that car car is brand new, they give u a depreciated amount of what the car is worth. they most likely arent going to reimburse you for the mods on it, as they didnt reimburse me for my mods when my tc was crashed. its also possible that it wont be considered totaled. they will have an inspector come out and look at it.

edit: i wouldnt get you hopes up on getting a new car, if they can fix it for less than what the car is worth, they will do that.

from the pictures alone you can already tell theres frame damage lol, i anticipate it being totaled. also the mechanic im bringing it to is a dear friend of the families, and said he will make sure its considered totaled, im not too worried about it. my mods should be okay, front of the car wasnt hit, so the headers should be fine, hopefully the xpipe isnt cracked, which im hoping isnt, and the mufflers may be okay, considering i was hit on the side, can only hope.

as for the insurance company, i talked to the ford dealership reps, who have plenty of experience dealing with this, they say they give a little more thasn kelly blue book value, which is valued for my car at 36k, so im expecting around that.

Its not like a truck where you can easily remove the box and cap. Its a single body vehicle. If it was a fender and hood different story. Ive herd d companys writing off vhicles that look way better

Unless you have gap insurance your parents are getting nowhere near 38k lol. KBB on the car is 28k, and used ones are selling around $25k. If they buy you a gt500 don't put 50 lb rims on it.
