Normally a sc setup is cheaper . You just need the blower and a new belt. Turbo you need new exhaust manifolds and pies to re route everything. If you want to be safe a intercooler also.

Forged internals means hardened pistons, crank new stronger rings. All the internal parts of the engine. You need the harder pieces because the factory ones were not designed for boost and will give out easy. Forged internals is like piece of mind. You don't want to spend 4k on a induction setup only to loose it all to a bad piston

would i need to upgrade any of those things for a s/c route?

Turbo will make more power in the long run, but a sc is cheaper and way more reliable, better for a DD imo. I-VTEC will not really be affected with forced induction, still works the same way essentially. I'm guessing a civic or Rsx? If that's the case comptech makes an excellent kit for those applications

pretty much a big civic or rsx...same power but bigger everywhere. '07 accord i4 sedan

What are the key components I would need to run a comptech setup such as yours Decom?

If its just a low boost kit you motor will be fine, and comptechs kits are typically all inclusive, everything you need comes with it. As long as your clutch will hold it you won't have problems.

but wouldn't getting a new clutch or a race clutch require upgrades to the transmission and ofc braking?

If its just the clutch then so, you will be fine. As far as brakes, unless you are tracking the car your stock ones will be fine,

Talked to Huron speed today. My planning has begun !! Lq4 and a turbo charger Inc. 650 to the wheels is the goal . Should be easy enough with the lq and a 76 mm

Have fun! Did they spec you the turbonetics 7675? Its a good fit for that goal. It is a little small if you were to push it on a 6.0l though. Your next decision needs to be E85 or unleaded.

Ya I talkes a little bit about the turbonetics but I think I'm going to go with the bw you reccomended . It will be e85 so I won't have to worry so much about destination . E85 is all over the place here in Michigan so its a no brainer. Will the stock pistons hold up or should I drop some money on New ones ?? I know Thos setup is not going to be cheap but I don't want to let it get out of control either lol

Be honest with your power goals. On E85 under a good safe tuner stock pistons will hold 800bhp reliably. Your goal of 650whp will be safe. Having a bigger turbine side like the BW has will help you have less backpressure. You won't find power falling off up top if you start leaning on it.
