lol ya my chest is fucking killing me, i had a fan in the door of the garage to try and keep it down but it just wasnt enough lol. the painting part was easy though. the prep work sucked though jesus. i could get used to painting though, i was useing a brand new never before used gun though so that helped alot

sigh, orange peel like a son of a bitch !!!!!!!!!!! FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF

but i wet sanded it down again and waxed it out lol. looks arlight now. pics to come as soon as i find my cord

all thats left is to put the interior door panel on, the side mirror, and the tail lights back in

give it a few weeks. Then sand with 2000 and buff. you'll get rid of the orange peel.

Just give the clear time to cure, it'll take a few weeks before its 100%

i already wet sanded it with 1500 grit lol, wheeled it out with some medium cut. it looks pretty damn good lol. i probably should have waited but ive never painted anything before, i was also sort of pissed. at least i didnt get any fish eyes though lol

Yeah, well it's not bad that you sanded it so soon. Just don't touch it for like 2 weeks. And let it sit in the sun any chance possible. You've essentially got rid of the raised edge of the clear, and now it will have a chance to really cure well. That's a good thing.

Also, don't use wax on freshly sanded/sprayed clear if you can. The wax (depending on what kind) can actually eat the clear over time if it is still relatively fresh, and can lead to problems.
