L2R... I said I don't **plan on going rotated**- but there is the possibility.

As of now the GT3076 was looking good but I still have to determine if I'm buying a Cosworth or sticking with the current block.

If stock, smaller turbo. If Cosworth, gonna go all out.

Holy balls kid. Like seriously I'm just going to keep laughing at you

Fuck the GTwhateverthefuck turbo.

I'm telling you get the turbo that I showed you, it's better than that. Or even go HP freaks.
In my opinion I prefer a dom2 with a top mount. I believe even a dom3 can work and is more efficient with a top mount rather than a front. Don't take my word for it though, I've only personally used and seen dom2s without having to bother with changing the intercooler.

Personally I think you need to learn how to use the car first. I've seen friends hit the 12s region on a stage 2 and tune. Or invest in better tires? But with a stage 2 and even with cobb maps you should be able to get into the 12 regions. But truthfully I've never driven the new sti myself on a strip. Only blob and hawkeyes.

guessing you all missed the part about e85. Thats the reason why he has 1000 cc injectors

Yeah I missed it but I read the full thread...

Don't run e85, that makes no sense whatsoever. If you're planning to run alcohol injection you should at least get a turbo that is going to make the best use out of it. Like I said, use the top mount, dom2, 850cc injectors, get yourself on some forged internals, and get UNEQUAL length headers. I mean cmon don't fuck around with an sti without power and then take out the sound. I still have unequals on mine. If you want an aggressive sound, get a straight pipe. And even your suspension can use some work. I use these for my sti on the track, http://stance-usa.com/sus/products/coilovers/procomp2 and I have a set of BC racings for the street.

Don't use E-85? Why the fuck not? 105ish octane and lower cylinder temperature than 93+ meth injection by a long ways. Its almost impossible to make an engine detonate while running E-85.

So wait is he running e-85 plus alcohol? or one or the other? I personally, along with many other friends of mine, prefer just running alcohol injection just because there's only one or two e-85 stations within the whole state. But sure, if he's willing to drive a far ways just to grab some 85 then by all means. Again I don't know where this guy lives.

And if you run out of alcohol, e-85 won't shut down. But again it's not available over here so we would rather grab one of those 10 gallon tanks and toss it in the trunk with our alcohol/water mixture.

It says he has E-85 and 93 oct tunes that are switchable on the fly.

This. Backsteppin' like nobody's business.

An 06 or 07 wouldve cost you much less to get where yours is at now, and modding it would still put you cheaper than what you paid for just the STi.

1000cc injectors with exhaust, a cai, and a new ic? Lol'd

Why did I buy an '11? Because I have the money... I like the new body style. I never buy used.

1000 CC Injectors for E85 numb nuts.

There's Kinetiks in New Hampshire, but they're fucking dumb although they appear to have a good rep. My buddy brought his WRX there and they told him he needed new injectors, a new intake, then after he paid them for new ones, they told him they were unable to tune his car.

I went through a guy named Mike; referred to him by Josh of importimageracing.com. I just send info from data logging and he fine tunes nicks and crannies.

Definitely not going open source though...

No shit 13.1 on stage 2... that's only downpipe and catback exhaust... no decent short shifter and my FIRST attempt at racing the car. I went straight to the track after all the mods were put on and used a BASE MAP from my Cobb Accessport.

No I have on the fly maps for switching from E85 to 93 pump; no eth/meth injection kit. E85 doesn't need injection since... well I'm sure you know.

I'm in Ft. Hood, so yeah I mean it blows dick cuz there's only 1 place I can get gas, HEB. lol. The 93 tune is just for travel when the time comes. I move from Ft. Carson to Ft. Hood frequently.
