Decided I'm going to keep dailying the Z06 until at least next winter. The new job driving really isn't that bad. At that point whatever I buy for a winter car will most likely turn into my daily and I'll either start from the ground up with the Z06 or I'll buy something else. Ordered a new catch can and breather setup today and I need to order another air tube and coupling as both of mine have been hacked up making my current mods work. Exciting stuff....

I might have a line on a 27k mile ZR1 trans and diff for mine. Would be tits. It's a $10k swap with stock parts if you pay retail prices. I might get the trans and diff for less than $4k.

ivebeen trying pretty damn hard to get my buddy to go with a bigger blower on his Zr1 so i can buy that one for a deal.

That ZR1 setup would be nice. I honestly don't want to deal with ripping my car apart again haha. When it comes down to it I'll probably buy something already done. If something local comes up at all I'll jump on it.



My buddy want to mount an LSA blower on his LS6. He seems to think he has the specifics worked out, I guess we'll see. I don't think anyone has ever done it before on a C5.

the lsa blowers are pretty damn nice for the price the Zr1 is slightly bigger i thinkit is a 2.3? the lsa from the ctsvs are like 1.9?

Do I get a salvage title on my car and get $1300 from this insurance company, or say fuck it, keep a clean title, and not get the money?

It's a volvo 780 running on MS, different turbo, etc etc and I intend to keep it for a while as a fun project with another daily in the future

The cars not worth anything regardless of the title, take the money.

I wouldn't say it's worth nothing as its a well sought after car and the damage is very minor (and already repaired), it's just that it probably won't sell for as much with a salvage title, and most likely
Won't be eligible for a rebuilt title

as long as you can explain down the line to who ever you sell the car to what and why it was salvaged then take the $

True, just hoping it's not going to be a pain to acquire a rebuilt from salvage title since I fixed it myself and purchased everything from private sellers on forums. Otherwise it's stuck with a salvage title and not road legal
