Do you have a before and after? It might just be the smallish rims, but it doesn't look to low

yea there arew a few pics in my profile, ill post a before and after. it lowered it 1.4" all the way around, i dont want it to low cuz i live in the country and drive shitty roads everyday. also worth noting is that the USDM civic Si was a bit abnormally high to begin with, so lowering it 1.4" makes it look like it should have to begin with.

it feels weird when i step out of my car now, i put my foot down and it hits the ground before it seems it should. :)

before

after

nah i like it where it is, for one as i already said i live in the country and drive shitty ass roads every day. and two (depending on the car of course) when u lower a car more than about 2" u really start to mess up the suspension geometry as in the roll center and your handling will start to deteriorate instead of get better. when u lower a car that much u need more adjustable suspension parts like tie-rod ends and so on and u need a suspension specialist to properly set up the entire suspension geometry. its not as simple as adjusting camber and toe that any alignment shop can do.

adjustable shocks/coilovers wont allow u to re work the suspension geometry. all that does is give u ride height adjustability and bump/rebound adjustment.

edit: o and also the more u lower any given car the more u experience bump steer which further decreases performance and makes it harder to control.

if u dont know or understand what im talking about try reading though these pages

my vagina-tech engine actually doesnt get the greatest mileage. it has a close ratio 5 spd so at 70 mph im sitting at about 4k rpms. i get 26 in the city and about 30 on the highway. i dont know the rating on the new Si's but im sure its better since they have a 6th gear that is an actual overdrive gear unlike mine.

I know man! It sucks..

I wish I had a 6th gear after 50+ mph haha

I still average roughly 35mpg though haha :P
