Haha that's guys, we're super excited. And money will tighten up sure, but it's not an issue my wife has a great job and makes better $ than I do (pre side jobs/race car stuff) and I make good $, that and I know my parents and her parents are going to spoil them rotten.

Conrad and Jacob are the names we have picked

And so it begins. I should be ordering a rear end for my formula next week. I've been going back and forth over a bunch of options over the past 2 months.

I decided on a CRP fabricated 9" narrowed 3" per side. It comes with his proprietary chromoly anti roll bar and short torque arm. The bare housing, ARB, and torque arm are $1700. It has adjustable ride height transverse shock mounts. I'm having it set up for AFCO double adjustable coilovers. As far as guts go i'm waiting on a itemized price for a spool with 40 spline axles and the strange S-Trac diff and 35 spline axles. The S-Trac is tough enough but the 35 spline axles are iffy. The spool and 40 splines will hold up but drive like poo poo. The S-Trac will run me another $1200 than the spool. That is my last decision to make before i order. I'm going to use a Yukon 3.25:1 ring and pinion and a strange H.D. Pro aluminum center section. Everything has SKF rod ends and NAS bolts with holes reamed to exact size so no slop or clunking noises. This rear should be good for transbrake launches and 1800whp so i'll have room to grow.

3.25 gear w/ a 28" tire and 6200rpm is good for 160mph in 3rd on a 4l80e. That's perfect for my 1/4 target. The trans i'm looking at is strong enough be locked up in 4th at my power which is good for 212mph. That is 30mph more than i'll ever need at wannagofast (1/2 mile). Shit is getting real.

Argh fuck you for having an easy time dealing with the other dude's insurance company. I always get jewed so hard.

Still fighting with this insurance company after being hit like 4 months ago, and 2 years ago had to bring someone to small claims because they backed into my car and denied everything to their insurance.

never that. took them 3 weeks just to issue my payment and took them almost a whole week just to get me a rental.

on a side note, gratz koj. cya racekors but hello tax refund check.

I haven't had good luck with them either but a lot of people are pretty happy with their products.
