^^ Thanks!

All welded back up.

As I said, once the ambient temperature is a little more sustainable, I'll properly prime/coat/paint the new fender lips.

Here are the pictures of today's welding escapade.

Lets hope the temperatures start to rise again. I'm ready for Spring. I want to start this thing.

Rear disc upgrade is next on the list.

I take it you're going to do more of a tuck on those EFI wires once you get everything sorted? That bay is beautiful and then dem wires....

Yeah, you nailed it.

I still don't know if it will run or not.

Once I confirm the motor does indeed start, the exposed wires get tucked and routed under the fuel rail. You won't see them.

^^ thanks, so is yours! the motor in the car looks great! So do the stitch welds

Did some tests the day before yesterday.

- Lost spark. Problem found to be distributor. Which are becoming increasingly difficult to find/replace/repair. Not to mention expensive.

Looks like I'm going EDIS. Brakes are now on the back burner for the moment, until I source out distributorless parts.

On the plus side, it solves a lot of problems at once. And I'm all for eliminating antiquated parts!

This will set me back on time more than anything else though....I swear this car will be worth it. At least that's what I keep telling myself.

A 240z that isn't swiss cheese is ALWAYS worth it.

This car has been neglected since I have returned from Rhode Island.

Now that I'm feeling confident that the 280zx won't leave me stranded (Ironically, I blew a coolant line today, and I nearly shit thinking I popped the head gasket :D), I'm going to put most of my focus back on the 240.

My tax returns came in, and instead of buying my Ford ignition stuff, which is relatively cheap and easily purchased, I instead bought the rear coil overs for the car!

I was going to make them. But, I'm honestly tired of making EVERYTHING for the car, so....I'm letting Gabe at Techno Toy Tuning do his stuff.

So those are being built. I'm using Koni race dampers, and a 250# spring rate.

Having the rear coil overs allows for more work, as I can then source out my rear brake components, and bolt everything together at once.

It's time to DUMP money into the suspension of this car.

He doesn't have any pictures of the rear setups, but here's a picture of the fronts he offers.

Got a package from Techno Toy Tuning today.

Sectioned struts.

Koni Yellows.

Eibachs: 250 # spring rate.

Hnnnngggggg!!!!!!

Needless to say, I'm very happy. I cannot say enough good things about Gabe at T3 and the product they offer. And I really appreciate not having to do this myself, as I can now see there is no way I could have come close to this result, in my current capacity.

Thanks so much Gabe!

I'm going to stare a bit.

Welp...there goes any hopes for progress this evening. :D

And I'm currently in the final stretch of a complete garage overhaul, and clean out. I must have found $400 in scrap copper; Looks like more parts are on the way!

And a clean work environment too, yay!
