anyways, when is this thread going to actually discuss Honda motors? you or the other JDM kid have yet to anserw any questions or even talk about honda anything. or is it to post pictures of riced out hondas, slow hondas, and false number youtube videos?

Ive seen some very fast hondas... My co-worker rob has 2... One of them is a 4 door civic with a b20b and b16 heads... Completely built... Fastest all motor civic ive ever seen "Makes type r swap civics look like fuckin pieces"... And his other one is a 94 dx, and im still not to sure what it has in it... Last year at Imports vs Domestics at MIR, it ran a 10.6 on the 1/4.

Its not impossible to make those cars fast, it is expensive, but worth it when some clown calls your civic a ricer.

Honda makes cars for 95% of the world, the 5% like me "gear heads, speed junkies, w-e" can buy a different brand...

New hondas are impossible to make fast, with the exception of the new v6 accord and the s2k "not fast... quick".. I'd stick with buying other cars if your looking for speed... Reliability, gas milage, and comfort... I'd aim for newer hondas.

the K20 is pretty ez to make power with, u can hit 280 hp pretty ez N/A. N/A tuning is not cheap but neither is a good turbo set up.

edit: u are right aobut the new hondas being slower tho, they are heavier about 300lbs on avrg compare to the 90's models.

edit again: they increased engine displacement pretty much across the line to help make up for it.

k20's are good engines. the main reason i love them is because of the 6 speed tranny though


if they wernt so damn expensive....
