thats nice, mines also tuned for longevity.
im driving to SDAC with my spirit this summer, its 886 miles one way and i plan on beating on it hard the whole way their, and back.
sure if i wanted to pull max power out of it, i could, but im not going to.
and fyi, alky doesnt add power but its self, so if he has alky or not makes no difference. the only difference is that my engine will run about 600 degrees cooler on the EGT's and 50-200 degrees cooler on the IAT's then his.
alky is for detonation supression and cooling, thats it.
sure "alternatively" i could run more boost with alky and not detonate and make more power, but it dont make power by its self like nitrous
it a saturn, its gonna blow up so nn for argument.
i ate redlines alive all da b4 i even built up the r/t
Really? Interesting story because I guarantee you've never been side by side with one.
And lol @ the Saturn comment, it has the 2.0 Ecotec motor, same one in the slowbalt and multitude of other Gm vehicles, its made specifically for longevity you retard.
So the crank and rods dont need to be replaced in your car until 600hp? Interesting, because GM made 600hp out of a 2.0 Ecotec without changing ANYTHING, bone fucking stock minus turbo accessories. They continued on to make 1100hp out of stock 2.0 Ecotec block, so your insults are unwarranted when you dont know fucking shit.
His Redline dyno'd at 700hp when he gets it tuned for the drags, 450 is his DD tune, at mind you, 13psi. Not 25 with a heat suppressant.
The R/t engine is a joke, get the fuck over it.
