Sounds good. They set the idle pretty high for drivability. You wouldn't believe the chop it would have if you lowered it to 800-850. Have fun with it man.

pretty much anything under 950 it just wanted to fall on its face and die all the time but i'm happy with where its at.

Yeah it's all in the timing tables. It takes a while to get adaptive spark set up right. It will drive better where it's at. 800 might be impossible.

I'm going to put 1500 miles on my truck this week... I moved my sister home from college, moved my brother in law home from Membabwe, and i'm going to Greenville to buy an 04 LS1 block tomorrow. So much for my week off. The truck pulled the mountains great with about 5k lbs behind it. I was surprised at how well the cruise control, DOD, and grade braking worked together.
