Yep. Having a guaranteed steady job is a great thing right now. I have 3 friends that up and joined the marines and 1 that joined the army in the past year. It's hard to find a good job these days. Especially if you came out of high school with little to no job experience. None of those 4 guys were military material. It was their last resort.
