LOL!

My Wife found a show and shine up north of Houston in Conroe that was for Diesel trucks only. She begged to go so I detailed the truck for her and we went up there.

She took second place... The winner was All Out Offroad's SEMA Truck that never got backed off the trailer.

But it gets better.

I got shit face drunk with a buddy making fun of people and their "1,000hp street trucks" tuned by fucking Edge, RaceMe, (insert other shit can toon here) so the wife was going to drive home.

We made it MAYBE half a mile until she was fucking with the seat and clipped the curb, bent the wheel, and tore the sidewall of the tire on the passenger front.

Good times. 4 new tires came yesterday, 2 new wheels tomorrow, and since i'm a cheap ass I'm self mounting the tires.

Only cost me 3,000 bucks in wheels and tires to go to a show and lose to a truck that never touched the parking lot.

that fucking blows

what atrocities did you end up with for wheels and tires

Same wheels, just bought two replacements. The front passenger looks like an egg and the back passenger I'm not sure will hold air. the outer lip has some pretty deep rash right where the bead seals.

Tires (since I accidentally bought two sets) I have either 35x12.50r22 Trail Grapplers or 37x14.50r22 IROK's

I'll probably just mount the Irok's and sell the trail grapplers since my wheels are 22x14. More bro's like those than swampers anyways so it would be an easier sell I hope. The Irok's might rub at full lock but at this point I can just raise the truck's ride height another inch or two on the bags and call it a day. It's an 8-14" kit and I leave it at 8" right now with the 35's

rvt the bead=no leaks :D

im a fan of the iroks but idk that id want to run them on the street, but with that much lift i think the 35s would look stupid.

the whole thing makes me cringe, but at least i know you're not one one of those tools

On the positive side of things it only gets about 10K miles a year put on it. We use it for going to the beach with the kids / fishing more than anything.

It's really not purpose built for anything other than to be attention seeking and conversation starting. Damn truck has brought me more business in vehicle wraps than my sales people do.
