i had actually lost this thread but google found it! little turn of events, my budy came across a decent deal for temporary engine, and decided to buy it so he can have the car runing while building his engine.
pretty much a turn key engine: 9.5compression ration, block guard, aftermarket springs and valves with delta cam, skunk intake 1000cc injectors, 340lph fuel pump, tuned ecu was also included.
some sort of turbo kit, anyways the combination was good for a 394whp on the dyno, and came with lsd tranny and nice clutch. we plan to run it as is, then maybe put in the bigger turbo/manifold, and ported intake we already have, nothing sure yet.

Now all we have to do is wait on a budy to come spray the engine bay. then we put in a new clutch pedal assembly to convert to hydro and we are ready to drop the engine.

lots of shit went sideways with shipping and wat not, now we have the engine sitting in the car, some cutting was needed cuz the wastegate is huge, now lots of cutting is needed for the intercooler piping. the hood actually closes. an aftermarket traction bar is needed to clear intercooler piping.
we had issue sourcing the right engine mout braker from the engine. the one on the engine would fit other civics but we needed the one from the original engine witch was given away with the engine :wallbash: .
the bumper gard was modified into an intercooler braket and thats how the car sits now
the engine in the bay is just the begining now we have to wire it all up, plug all the vacuums, bleed the clutch, finish th eintercooler piping and let it rip.

why not build a b18 at least now since it already has a built d16. Instead of building another single cam.
