If you guys really dont think Subaru's are known for their headgaskets you're dumbasses. Yes the 2.5's are more known, but all Subaru's are known for it.

And yes WRX transmissions are known to be glass transmissions. Aka why most fanbois go for the 6 speed swap.

And yes it takes ~10g's just to get 400whp on top of the cost of the vehicle. Its funny when kids tear apart the motors and rebuild them up, just to get like 380-420whp.

First, the only subarus that have the gasket issues are NA applications.. The WRX and sti not included..

Second, the models that had a terrible transmission were early 2000s.. I was in an 04 when the trans nuked.. The new models, you can launch at 2k all day without fucking any thing up.

Third, it doesn't cost 10 grand to get near 400 hp.. Around 5 grand would easily land you around 400hp, and that includes labor..
