A weak aluminum case seems to cause distortion and let the mainshaft try to climb inside the housing under high tq. At least you can get parts for it though unlike the NV. Well, parts made outside of China.
Was never a huge fan of the nv5600.
Used a few nv4500's though when i started pulling.
Then it became to easy to use an automatic and do better with less power

Besides... I dont care what clutch you use... 2500+ft lbs, a 60k dead weight, and 5500 rpm from a dead stop going to 3rd or 4th high does not mix well....
I can replace a clutch in a nv4500 truck in less than an hour though
