People routinely leave their cars running while they walk in a gas station etc.  I leave my truck running from time to time if it is parked where i can see it. By the time they figure out how to get it in reverse they will have an M&P Shield drawn on them.

That is ridiculous. I'd hate to see what a really nice house runs...

lol i have a t400 in my trans am and when i put the shifter in i lost the sticker that tells you what gear is what

im the only one who knows, i guess it wouldnt be hard to figure it out though

Takes two grown men and a boy to get those god damn things into reverse.... They were HORRIBLE when they were new... Had to start over by 5th/6th and get a run for it to get through the gate. That is one thing I hated about that damn transmission design...

Great trans though in a stock truck

They do alright under more power. The input shaft's still aren't the greatest thing ever made and tend to retire after a healthy clutch is put in front of it.

A weak aluminum case seems to cause distortion and let the mainshaft try to climb inside the housing under high tq. At least you can get parts for it though unlike the NV. Well, parts made outside of China.

Was never a huge fan of the nv5600.

Used a few nv4500's though when i started pulling.

Then it became to easy to use an automatic and do better with less power ^_^ Besides... I dont care what clutch you use... 2500+ft lbs, a 60k dead weight, and 5500 rpm from a dead stop going to 3rd or 4th high does not mix well....

I can replace a clutch in a nv4500 truck in less than an hour though :P

Lol can you shoot someone that tries to steal your truck if you leave it running? I can understand someone breaking into it on your property as it still falls under the Castle Doctrine, well, here in gay ass CT anyway. It's such a hassle to carry a gun here I usually don't. The last time I got pulled over the cop saw my CC permit as I pulled out my license and literally flipped out asking me if I had a gun on me/in the car, I said no and the dude starts tearing apart my interior looking for a gun....you serious? Plus we're limited to 10 rds for a CCW in CT, the Glock 30 I have isn't the most comfy thing to keep tucked away, especially when you're slim, I should've just gotten a slim 9, but all the fudds convinced me to get a 45 for my CCW...wish I wasn't so retarded when I bought my pistol.

pretty sure only occupied vehicles count.

too many pussy cops on the force today that can't even handle the stress of someone legally carrying a gun.

gotta love the "get a 45 for the stopping power" argument.

In most states you can't. Odds are they are going to exit the vehicle if there is a gun pointed on them. I do live in a stand your ground state so it would be a toss up.
