A regular FMJ .223 round fired out of a standard AR15 will go through and through several cars from close range. A steel core round aka armor piercing will keep going and going and going.

Hell most pistol rounds would blow through the shell of a car door... its like 20ga mild steel.

i did not read all the posts but you want a WRX and say the STi isnt worh the extra cash but you're also looking at the Evo X...

Evo would've been used. 2015 Sti base is 35k, wrx is like 26. I just can't justify 9 grand extra for 40 more hp/tq and a suspension and diff that was meant for the track which the car would never see. Believe me, I like the STi, and it's great from an enthusiast standpoint, but as a dd'r a lot of it would go to waste...plus they're just too much of an unwanted attention draw from the cops.

If I lived down south or out west....Not for winter around here, I don't feel like crashing again, and current living circumstances don't allow for 2 vehicles.

Yea I'm fuckin' pissed....I had just installed full HFP suspension on it along with a Progress RSB....never even got to have fun in the car, was trying to run the all seasons down and was going to get winter tires around now had it made it....full bolt-ons in the spring along with some good tires, would've been a fun car. I was highly considering getting another but I might as well upgrade, so I did.

TBH, they don't really pay attention to us... honestly. ( well, for my part. i own a 2012 STi hatch with a loud ass exhaust and still no problems with cops )


and you get brembo brakes on the STi btw
