Knock has nothing to do with a clean engine

Knock has nothing to do with a clean engine. Knock is premature detonation. You put your foot in your mouth now stop trying to "troll" your way out of it.


Low octane or "cheap" gas keeps your engine just as clean as high octane "premium" gas. You bought in to the marketing hype. Congrats. You should always run the lowest octane fuel your engine is rated for.
