All based on the driver. Most people that buy these don't even let them see above 3k rpms. So what's the point.
"Should"
Point made.
And how is it ignorant? I say 11-12s and you come back with LOW 11s. Still an 11.
Uh, No? It's not based solely on the driver. When you give an estimate of a time a car should run you are talking about the capability of the car with adequate track conditions. Not records, repeatable stuff. A shitty driver can run 14's in an 8 second car. That doesn't make it a 14 second car.
I think you know jack shit about Z06's and their drivers. They aren't your typical corvette owners. They bought a race car and they know it. Many of them go to shows, many of them sit in garages most of the time. Lots of them go to the track, get modded (this car), and get abused on the street.
Speaking of your ignorance it is telling. Stick to your stanced CRV. You said high 11 low 12, when I say low 11, like 11.1-11.2, that is a full second faster.
12.0-12.1 is quick. It's not going to blow anyone's mind.
11.1-11.2 is really quick for a street car. There is almost a 100hp difference in those times at the same weight.
10.0-10.3 is a really fast street car. That's around 200hp more than 11.1-11.2 at the same weight.
It's not because it's a corvette. It's about the potential per $ that the car has. With the mods that 06 has at under $40k it will run with modded GTR's and the like in a straight line, and around a track. It will sound great, be reliable, and look good doing it. It is refined enough that a business man can drive it to work or take a client to dinner without worrying about anyone mistaking them for a boyracer honduh kid. It's a big boy car. A
Sports Car...
Maybe you should Avoid topics like this one where you clearly don't know what you are talking about.
