So haters, this is what happens when your 5 yr old doesn't want to wait for his next turn on the 4 wheeler..

As previously stated, I have at least a couple of these 'shitboxes' and I build them for different purposes. This one is more of a daily beater (46mpg 5 speed) but the upgraded aspire suspension with about 6-8" of suspension travel, then about 4-6" of chassis flex since the body has 279k on it(still rust free, very rare around these parts lol), an aspire motor to make it run like a raped ape, it also doubles as a rock crawler/hill climber/mudder on 12x4.5" steelies.



The blue car this thread was started with is babyspire, got it for $350 @98k miles...its more of a highway/cruiser machine that nets really good mpg for an automatic.

I've also got a 94 that should be running sub 14 sec 1/4 mi. by the end of summer.

Each of these cars are between 17 and 21$ a month on insurance, how much do you pay?!?!?!!

if its going to be a rock crawler/hill climber/mudder shouldnt it be capable of doing those things? iso a video of it doing those things instead of a pic of if stuck on a small mound of dirt.

The mound was twice as tall as the car and it didn't actually get stuck, I backed it off there.

One of these days I will be lifting a Festy and putting some 4 wheeler rims and tires on. It really needs a phantom grip or a gtx tranny with a protege swapped suspension...ill wait till I find one or kill one beyond road worthy status though.

A hell of a lot more than that (for much nicer, more capable vehicles). I also pay a shitload more for gas too.

I'm thrilled about both of those things, because it means I don't have to drive a bunch of econo shitboxes
