yeah, todays v6's are more powerful than 2010 and below's v8's

In response to op; It's not just you. I get this on a daily basis, and I drive a v6 Mustang...

I don't believe in street racing inside city limits though, so I generally just get in front of them and cut 'em off. Sometimes if I know there's a cop ahead I give it a good rev and watch 'em go get their ticket.

so they get a civic/integra for 1-2k and put less then 1k into it to make like 170whp more or less depends on motor really. that's plenty of power to have a good time. and then u have a car that's affordable and gets good gasmilage so you don't need to be scared of racing costs and when you see the cobra you try to pull with it because why the fuck not?

Any old 5.0 stang besides the 79 (rated at 140) makes more than 170whp before mods, and they're easy to find for 1-2k. Just throwin that out there.
