Yeah i have, in automatic cars.

Unless you know of a car where you have to MANUALLY engage the clutch to change gears and you change gears with those paddle shifters... but that doesn't exist.

With a paddle shifter the clutch AUTOMATICLLY engages, you as the driver don't have to manually engage it.

are the words automatic and manual confusing to you?
or maybe it's the concept that's confusing?

either way, you're clearly confused.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Selespeed

Quote
Selespeed is the name of an electrohydraulic manual transmission used in Alfa Romeo cars, developed by Italian company Magneti Marelli. The Selespeed is a robotized manual gearbox with electronic clutch. In its current incarnation it can be operated via paddle shifters from the steering wheel or via a "joystick" like a sequential manual gearbox. The right-hand paddle shifter shifts upwards and the left side downwards. The gearbox also has a city-mode which self-shifts in a manner similar to a traditional automatic gearbox.

I still haven't even seen any pictures of any of these alleged cars he's owned.  Inb4 they are his parents except for his bike/inb4 leases

There are links in my signature to posts containing proof if you really care so much...

And to the guy who thinks an $85k vehicle is a lot of money/my life's saving... Nice job confirming your pleb status. I've owned single cars worth more than your parents house in which you live.

You guys get mad way too easily, it's hilarious.

There are pics in my M3 thread of me holding up a piece of paper with a time stamp and my username inside of the car.

the best part is, if the vehicles aren't his parents, then he probably leases. Would explain why he trades in these cars every so often

That's cool. I won't even bring my home into this conversation because I don't want to embarrass you too badly on the topic of personal wealth.
