a 572 cubic inch motor is a hemi, as well as a 528 cubic inch motor.

idc if the 440 / 383 are the same block or not. a 383 has what? less displacement therefore giving it less power UNLESS you bore it over.

Just go take a pic of the entire motor. if my 318 blew a hole in the block i could take a picture that looked the same as that one and say i had a 31.2L motor running on methane gas...

your retarded. learn about big block mopars then get back to me.

a 318 wont fit in my car. the charger came with a stock 440, cuz that was the only option for the 74 special edition models.

the only reason i went with a 69 charger 440 engine was cuz in like 71, the government put performance v8's on the chopping block with all the emissions crap. a 74 440 is around 275hp, where as a 69 charger 440 engine is around 385-400hp stock. so naturally, id start with the same cid engine, cuz it drops right in and i start off with over 100 more hp

seriously what the fuck you talking about? you on fuckin drugs?

i know what they are, when did i ever say i had both? never, gtfo rand

You said it was a "Solid roller tappet"

A solid roller has a roller, a tappet doesn't have a roller. A tappet is the one on the right in the picture I posted. The lifter rides directly on the cam. That is how most old school engines were. Roller is much better and the way to go nowadays. You can't have a solid roller tappet.

The only way you could possible put that in the same sentence is if you use the word tappet instead of lifter. They used to be interchangeable when everything was flat tappet.

The cam is either

Solid roller

Hydraulic roller

Flat tappet

If you say solid roller tappet with tappet meaning lifter you are being redundant. The word tappet or lifter isn't required. I've never once heard someone say solid roller lifter when asked what cam they have. They just say solid roller. The rest is self explanatory.

Im glad everything i say goes way the fuck over your head.

The racoon eating his own shit in my back yard has a higher IQ rating than you.

P.S. I've been around mopar motors my entire life, im pretty sure i know a thing or two about them.

And yes a 318 will fit into a 74 charger. Its a small block. There will be no issues with tight fits, firewall relocation, or anything.

Yes the motor mounts will be changed as well as the tranny mounts depending on what you use.

You are a hard headed fanboy that is so fucking set is his own little fantasy world that you cant take the 3 seconds to take a piece of advise from somebody that might know a thing or two that you dont. I sugest you open your fucking eyes and smell the roses.

Mind if i tramp stamp audiquattro on your forhead now?

?

roflroflrofl

ofc there will be room, a 318 would fit in the pasenger seat of my car. even with a 440, there is an assload of room.

yeah your right, it will drop right in

you have some learning to do. why the hell would i make the mods to put a tiny ass 318 in when it came stock with a 440? i just swapped the stock 74engine out for a stock 69 engine and modded that

For one, i never said anything about the cams you had in your car.

secondly, those you listed are solid roller cams.

I'm sorry, you are the weakest link. Goodbye!

i did read it, but you posts are 90% irrevalent and you didnt seem to get the hint at that the special edition had a stock 440. so why u keep on saying put a 318 in it when it wasnt even offered for the car?

i like to keep it somewhat nostaligic. stock was a 440, i swapped out a federal emissions molested 440 for a free breathing 440 and moded that. its still a 440 car and thats what i wanted it to be cuz thats what it came with stock
