You need to get a base tune before you can drive it and break the clutch in. Not a full WOT tune. Misfiring and shit is normal after those mods and that is why you can't drive it. It is misfiring. Need i say more? Lol.

I don't even thinks that's going to be possible lol. The shop is quite out of the way, and getting them to come in on a Saturday so we don't have to skip work to do it is already been a huge struggle.

Well i hate to see you go through a build like this and do this step wrong. You really shouldn't drive it. It's a disaster waiting to happen. These things have to be planned for ahead of time. I've trailered cars to get a base tune and i've gone the mail order route on milder setups. That misfire code you are getting is a good indicator that this setup is too aggressive to get by on the stock tune

The moral of the story is to make friends with someone that has a truck and trailer.

Lawl I was expecting them to atleast be driveable, not well but driveable. At their ride heights neither is going to get on any regular trailer. I've got some stuff to figure out.

Yeah that is a big cam. And you changed intakes. That's a big change in VE.

Well we got the clutch changed and the transmission/subframe back into my car. Just need to put the headers, plugs, coilpacks, alternator and serpentine belt back on and its ready to start, should be up and running midday tomorrow. We'll see how/if it idles.

If it does you are lucky. It's going to be basically undriveable and stall all over the place. I'd be worried about a lean spot with that 90mm TB. That's going to hurt your starting and idling as much as the cam.

Haha

In a month I'm going to a standing half mile event put on by Wannagofast in Clayton Ga. I rented a cottage for the weekend and i'll be driving my Trans Am up there with my wife. There are about 10 of us going total. It should be a fun weekend of friends, turbo lambos, vipers, corvettes, gtrs, etc. The clayton event is held on a private runway that is part of a fly-in mountain community. It's in a valley so the echoes are epic. I'm looking forward to driving up there. It's a 3.5 hr ride with no interstate and the last hour includes some fun roads. This is the same area of mountains that is home to deal's gap or the dragon's tail depending on where you are from. The roads and scenery are awesome.
