Cams in, engines reassembled. We broke the pilot bearing puller on the first try, and the store was closed, so both cars are currently still up in the air in my buddies driveway. Fuck this weekend so hard.

It looks like some sort of transplant is taking place

What did you do to set lifter preload?

You need to rotate it 1 revolution and re-torque. You can get improper preload on the cylinders that have lifters riding high on the cam lobes if you don't. It makes for a noisy valvetrain. Each turn of the rocker bolt past 0 lash is equivalent to ~.047" lifter preload IIRC.

So I guess we're pulling valve covers after the clutches are in

So the house fell through. I'll never look at another house that's listed through Hubzu.com.. They had no notice of a contract on the property, and to our surprise it was already purchased.

Next possibility. It's small, but I would build an addition for that price.

Did you pull the motors completely or did you do it in place. I'm Gina re bearing my motor while it's out just to be safe with it

We did it in place. Pulled the heads and the steering rack.
