If you ever do any mods, yes. If you want to maximize fuel economy on a displacement on demand equipped truck, yes. A mail order or basic bolt on tune is cheap. Just use someone reputable. If you are going back to stock tires or don't care about the speedo then leave it stock.

so recommend me some tuners, because the dealership wants 150$ to recalibrate.

and what mods are you talking about, keep in mind im in California and we have smog nazis

Don't worry about messing with anything if you are going back to stock size tires.

It's a sweat equity, that's for sure. I'll spend 20k on it, and the house will be worth probably around 180k. Beautiful neighborhood, but the market strength is garbage around here.. I think it may be a Fannie Mae property, so if it is I'll only need 3% down, and the rest I can actually put into the thing.

Out near Ocean City, MD. Yeah this house is on half an acre, 3 beds, 2.5 baths, a little choppy the way the house is layed out but with the baby coming, I don't want to live next door to college kids anymore.

E: Even in my wildest dreams, 800k is out, lol. I don't ever want to spend more than 250-300k on my home. 300k around here goes a long way.
