Well I was misled.

On the phone the dude said 275's were no problem.

I drive into town, the lady behind the desk says no dice. I'll have to make an appointment with a different shop later this week.

I knew the spur of the moment appointment was too good to be true.

I did however, just throw on the thermostat housing. I'll let the RTV cure overnight, then I'll torque the bolts, fill with fluid and check for leaks.

Then I time the motor, check some tunerstudio stuff, and maybe attempt to fire the motor.

If you're in my neck of New York, deal.

Til then though, I've been making moves to finally cutting my fenders. Finally put the flares on the correct sides. Haha.

Don't cut. Cut. Looking good can't wait to see that on those new wheels.

And news on the compressor motor?

Apparently a bearing was bad in the electric motor. I had a guy repair it.

I expect the motor back early this week. HOPEFULLY the compressor will fire right up once I put it all back together.

Driver's side rivnuts installed.

More are in the mail, so I'll have to wait to finish the rest by the time I mount my tires.

I can't cut the fender until I once again have compressed air, so again, more waiting...

you gonna run anything between the gap.

talking about the fender gap between the flare gap. i mean i dont think it's needed.

you aren't going to paint the carbon fiber or yes ?

I have fender welting that I made for the flares. It's just not installed in this picture. I mainly wanted to see that the holes lined up after installing the inserts.

And the flares will be exposed carbon.
