Well I got 2 tax returns coming I'm thinking a btr4 and a set of Mickie's with the 100 shot for this summer
Do it.
I finally installed the 2011 KX450f shock linkage I've had sitting in a box for a year. The pull rod on the 2010+ is 4mm longer than my 07 has stock. That should soften the suspension ratio giving me more travel and a smoother initial stroke. Improved traction, rear wheel steering ability, and softer on the square edge bumps. That bad news is 1 of the needle bearings is shot. I pulled it apart to grease it before I put it on and found the swing arm mount bearing is rusted out. The shock mount on my original was toast so I greased the hell out of the new one and shoved it in. It should make it through 1 ride without a problem. I fixed a few other odds and ends, put a new IRC HD tube in the rear tire, bleed the brakes with some fresh Motul RBF 600, cleaned the air filter, changed the oil, drained the gas (lol), and adjusted/lubed the chain. It's pretty sad that I haven't had time to ride in so long the gas could be bad.
Tomorrow I'll get it cleaned up, block off my numbers, and pack up. I have to splice a new plug on to my trailer wiring too. My new truck has the trailer electrical connectors built into the bumper and my wires aren't long enough. I'll cut, solder, and heat shrink it then put it in some black conduit.
I scored one of these

for free along with a new pair of gloves and a pack of tear offs. Industry connections are nice. I'm going to look a little disjointed what with the red and black gear on a green and black bike but I can't complain. The only thing I'll be wearing that I paid for is my boots.
