this is what im planning to drop into my camaro lol. the same engine for the most part haha. the mustang will be lighter ofc and i prob wont be on 23lbs of boost with it. maybe like 15ish. but still thats pretty much the engine

ya it is but i wont have to worry about either the trans or rear end for the rest of the time i own the car. get a strange 12 bolt with some new axels or a moser. the 4l80e will hold a pretty good amount of power with a light rebuild. i just need it to hold like 650 max until i get brave with it. whit this all said and done my car the way im looking at it will have costed me something around 15k lol. could it be done cheaper hell yes it could but i would be able to hit my goals and still drive it on the street

which imo isnt to bad for a street car capable of 700 to the wheels if i got brave lol


Im lookin at about 700~ to the wheels when i supercharge it and build the engine a little more, thatll be fun times :evil:

i dont plan on going that far lol. the camaro wont be to fast on the track since i wont be running a glide and a trans brake. foot braking it and leaveing at like 2500 rpms lol

yo what you doing tonight we meeting in seaford area on sunrise and hit wantagh for friendly runs got one of our 5.0's out tonight u should come by for fun no cash runs tonight simply friendly 516-361-6910 is my cell can text me for info

just did a spread sheet with all the parts and what not to get me a lq4 with an ls3 top end and an ls6 camshaft into my car. only 3200 for something around 420 hp im gonna guess. that doesnt sound to bad at all. but ill just say 4k since im sure im mising some things. i know i dont have the ls3 springs in there and i will probably drop the block off at the machine shop to get it looked over and rebalanced but stil that doesnt sound to bad actually lol

edit i know im missing stuff now i must have made a bad search on summit lol. i was only apprently about 900$ off haha

but from a thread on ls1tech of someone doing the exact same thing as me, it will cost over 5k but not by much :( o well it will be worth it

im getting excited now lol. time to start calling around fr a lq4
