i thought trucks couldnt break 100
trucks can hit over 100 NO PROBLEM. its just GM's little deal that they set the govener (computer fuel cut off switch) at 96 MPH.
theres like 2 ways to over come this.
1. reset the govener.
2. remove all speed sensor (LOL WHAT?)
and if either of those dont work, chances are it goes off the transmission input (1st gear 7k rpm, 2nd gear 7k rpm, 3rd gear 7k rpm, 4th gear 3k rpm) it stops there because it knows its going over the limit.
trust me, i got my dodge to 115 (basic 5.9 liter) and my friends cumming (with a highway tool box in the rear) passed me doing 125 EASY and still made it over the top of the hill before i hit the base of the hill.
