I honestly dont know how you can even do that. Your weather cant be much different than Maine and even I have clearance issues in a mildly lowered SUV.

If there's more than an inch of non packed snow on the roads I just plow. My work was shutdown Monday from a snow storm and I just didn't go out the entire day because of it.

So in an interesting turn of events and some assistance from my parts/used car department.
The next time our partner salvage yard gets anything with an aluminium block LS, I get a call. I pay $xxx, pull the engine and tranny myself and walk out.

All a waiting game now :)

If only you weren't in Canada... lower mileage lsx's demand a premium down here. The weather lets people drive them a lot more so the average pull out it 120k miles or more now unless you start looking at ls3's and the aluminum truck engines.
