reason why i bought my honda

1991 crx HF (sub 2000 pounds) 134k miles, no rust southern car
-JDM d15b engine (70k miles)
-act stage 2 clutch
-megan racing 4-2-1 headers
-2.25" header back exhaust to a flomaster
-AEM short ram intake
-eebay coils

i only paid 1500 dollars for this car and put 38k miles over the past year on it without a hiccup (5k mobil 1 oil changes is all)

this car gets 36mpg city 49mpg highway..........for 1500 dollars

things i didn't like: blown struts with eebay coils = ricer bounce, paid 450 dollars for a full set of JDM Tein type RA (retail $2000), now on rails
rear drums - put DA integra rear disc brakes on it

this car will be caged/harnessed when i get a new dd (wrx sti) to be run on road race courses. No its not a fast car by any means (mid 14s my guess, never drag raced it though), but its cheap and light which will cut down on the cost of track consumables (tires, rotors, brakes). If i put this car into a tire wall I will definitely not shed a single tear. Wouldnt get another honda to put on track either, wrong wheels driven, itd be RWD and not domestic though

very clean but does he plan on putting this thing under insurance?

what company did he use to get a hold of one here? how much extra was the shipping cost?

I lol'd slightly.

Sure they get good mileage, but unless you have the hybrid civics or whatever, youre not gonna run near 50mpg
