Mustang... the road boat.
A redlight racers wet dream.
I personally would never buy a car which main purpose is for fun, then let the automatic transmission have all the fun for me.
Putting around in an automatic is the most loose definition of the term "driving" i can muster, even a toddler can press the gas and break, powerwheels stumps 0 kids.
If he thinks mashing on a gas pedal is fun, so be it, he bought the perfect car for himself.
I would never buy a mustang, or an automatic car, because i like to drive cars, not automate boats.
Sopranos seems more than happy with it, and it's his. I don't think anyone is going to change his mind about that.
I suspect some day he will learn how to drive a manual, and look back on the days he had an automatic 5.0 with many laughs.
Everyone makes mistakes, even if they don't recognize it until long after the fact. He's only 20 or 21, he has many many many cars left to buy, drive, crash and fix.
This one car he got in college, isn't the end all be all on his motorsports resume.
the mustang is the lightest of the 3 pony cars, in comparison to the other 2, its the anorexic one.
if i wanted a manual one, i would of bought one, however i didnt. i wont look back and laugh at my decision, because i picked what i wanted. but youre right in the fact that i have many cars to buy in the future, which some of them, probably the next one, will in fact be a manual.
