I'm curios to see what my T/A makes. It play a big role in what I plan to do with it engine wise. I will also get to see if it smokes as bad as everyone says it does during a pull. It never gives so much as a puff at idle or cruising around. Due to that I think a lot of it is PCV related. The factory LS1 PCV system is CRAP. I have everything I need to redo it. I need to get my ass outside when it warms up and do a compression and leakdown test on it. So many things to do, so little time... I held off on painting it while I was buying this house. The chicken or the egg, which to cook first?
My summit leak down tester arrived today. My cheapo harbor freight tester won't calibrate correctly. I used it on an LS1 Camaro a few years ago and it worked fine. I let someone borrow it and I think they put too much air to it. I have overtime tomorrow and no plans for the weekend so I should get a full compression and leakdown test on the Trans Am by sunday evening.
