It'll be a cold day in hell that I put a ford motor in anything.

You’re right, who would possibly want the best modular engine ever built in their car?

For the same reason I wouldn't LS swap anything. It's common, It's the go to solution.

Don't get me wrong, both great motors. Just not my style.

I do have a 6.7L raceblock in the garage. Just not street friendly.

I kinda thought that way after I said a coyote in a rat rod..

A Cummins or a flat head would be bad ass if you rat rod it

I've got an old 426 max wedge that I bought from a swap meet about a year ago. It's just been sitting on a stand. Always thought it would be a cool motor for a rat rod / hot rod project. Just logistically complicated to put it into anything small is all.

I seen an old Fury that had a max wedge with two prochargers. Both fed into some old school blow through carbs with that wonky ass cross ram intake the old gassers used to run. Very odd setup that probably made fuck all for power but it was a pretty cool design.

If it’s a rat rod, it’ll be an easy fit.. I’ve seen a dude put a 440 in a tubbed 1930 Plymouth.

If you’re trying to do a Shelby, I’d do either the 5.2/5.0 or a 427

Coyote swaps are common place?

Uh. No.
Lol

LS swaps are. Coyote swaps are still fairly rare. Getting more and more popular as the motors get cheaper and more aftermarket development.
But not even comparable.
