You are undercutting yourself at that price

That's being generous...

I just paid 1,200 bucks for paint correction / full detail on the wife's truck.

You know... because why the fuck would you ever take 30 seconds out of your day to run it through a car wash. <_<

Even fewer people understand the difference between a coat of wax and a paint correction. Welcome to the club. I spent 16hrs on the paint correction for my C5. If I was paid my hourly wage at day job + materials that would be about $800. If someone wanted to pay me for a paint correction doing a 2 stage cut and polish with a sealer and wax I'd start at $1,000 and go up from there. Anything less and it isn't worth it.

Random, but I highly recommend getting a California duster if you have a black car. After you lay down a good wax (find shade under a tree, I used to pull my car in my parents yard under a tree when I was in highschool) you can keep your car super clean by just "dusting" it. One of the best investments I've made. All my vehicles throughout my life have been black, including my brothers truck and both my parents vehicles. They're ugly when they're dirty, but boy are they pretty when clean ;)
