Cheap. I'm 27 clean record and still would be about $2k American.
tbh I haven't looked into insurance at all, I have to ask around and see what my friends pay yearly.

what answer are you looking for?
you're asking for opinions, but your shutting the ideas down. like many said just get a basic car- chances are you're gonna wreck it anyway.
also i never saw the appeal of buying a car older than yourself....
I've taken in what some people are saying. Realistically I should get a cheap car for now and wait til I'm on my feet etc etc. I still want that r32 tho ahaha. My mother used to have this old e300 & that car looked amazing to me, we had to toss it due to some problems with the engine itself (idk the cause) but that would have been a nice car to store away and try ot find a new engine later on

Looking into ford escapes atm. I want to avoid honda simply because I think it looks like shit (better then taking the bus) but I'd rather get something a little better if I have a choice.
Also wouldn't mind a WRX or something but does anyone have a subie? I wanna know if repairs are insane or affordable (can vary I know but, we talking mid-cheap prices OR expensive ass parts)
*don't think i'd wreck my car BUT if there's an open stretch & the path is clear I tend to let loose a little, but nothing dumb like trying to drift for the first time or trying to race people... If I wanna do dangerous shit I'll stick to climbing buildings & parkour ty

OP you should get a newer and more reliable car as your first car
Yeah will most likely have to do this, or at least a 03' +
But wont it cost more to buy a used car if its a higher year? correct me if im wrong. I was shocked to see used BRZs/FRSs still around 9k-18k but im pretty sure it's still considered a new car. idk when they were brought out maybe 13'14
