I understand all points. But the FRS should have a just a little more power... I believe, from factory. Vehicles should match their looks with power.
Its just such a let down seeing a FRS's get their asses handed to em by a damn civic! Like, Really?

Someone who paid maybe $2500 for their civic. Slap some bolt ons to it and gut it. And your gonna take stock FRS's for days. So you got a civic with maybe 3500-4000 total for car and parts. And it beats a 20k+ car. Something is just not right here.

that's cuz they really weren't intended to be raced on the street. Which is why I always laugh when I see brz/frs owners driving like the stereotypical mustang driver.

I would like to see them bump up the horsepower to at least 300 (which lets be honest, is about average power wise now a days), and then possibly a turbo "STi" variation would be cool

Every official report has Mentioned there being no turbo version for the next generation. However they could put a 2.5 L engine in the car making 250 to270 hp and that would be more than enough from factory without adding much additional weight

Would be sweet if they made a turbo 2.5L option B)

Just curious, how much hp/torque would be acceptable for a sub 2800 lb NA car for $26,000?

two replies for one post, I can already feel the butthurt coming.

I PERSONALLY (ME, MY OPINION), wouldn't consider the car unless it had around 300 to the crank (260-270 to the wheels, which lets be honest, is completely average now). Any lower and you are just looking at better options (again my opinion). 200 hp to the crank may be alright for you, but for tons of people fimd it is underpowered.
