Transmission is toast. The shop is trying to find a used one to put in.

Anyone have an estimate on what it'll cost for the parts + labor of putting in a new tranny?

A used tranny should be like $400 at most, labor about $300

Replacing the tranny in that is 12 bolts and a tranny jack, should take them 3 hours tops

Unless its a 4x2, that tranny is about 1200 and im not sure about labor, I know a driveshaft wo u ld take 15 minutes at most so shouldnt be that much more

Thats presumptuous lol. I've had driveshaft installs that have taken days because Ive had to send them out to be machined and balanced.

But yeah normally, what he said.
