it was more of a joke, laugh at the shitty driver, not the hellcat iself. I was surprised more people didn't catch it the first time around. Seems like they just read the title and didn't watch.

The thing is a boat though at like 4930lbs, even beating the hellcat by a few hundred.

Its 0-60 is impressive but still 6/10ths slower in the 1/4 mile

Some of you people just don't understand what I've said...
Electro driven cars don't have that "feeling" you get in an internal combustion engine and they leave me cold. There's less mechanical work going on under the hood, everything is CPU controlled, it's like my freaking PC - i cannot get emotionally attached to it, while i can to the car i own.
And where on earth did you dig up those dragsters and jets now, I don't care about the power they produce. Though we were talking about DDs...
But if you want to compare them to something, compare them to their future silent battery driven counterparts: you think you'll get the same shiver down your spine when you watch silent drag races knowing CPU controls everything or when you don't hear that jet engine sound when you see it flying?

the way i see it the lack of sound isnt going to turn me off when it has the acceleration of a high end sports car. its going to be different for everybody though so its not like something you can argue about but then again i drive a semi for a living so im listening to a loud noisy ass turbo diesel motor for upwards of 14 hours a day.
