BS3 runs about $4-5k after you but all of the add on modules you need. Motec is about the same or a little more and is less popular with domestic drag racers but is bigger with the super fast street car crowd.

Then hire someone to get it right. I have no knowledge of gas stand alones. They are far more complicated compared to a diesel... Those I can handle and know the ins and outs. I just don't want to torch a block due to ignorance.

That part isn't as bad as you think. The guys that do it for a living are very fast at it. 2-3 days on the street and at the track is probably all that would be required to get it running well enough and safe.

More car parts for the challenger. Razors edge front strut tower brace. Contemplating on hydro dip, clear powdercoat, mopar b5 blue, or daytona blue pearl.

My challenger is phantom black.

i dont understand, you spend 40-50k on a brand new challenger, then another 3-4k in mods, why not just go fork out the 500-800 for a professional tune?

Hotter thermostats increase engine efficiency. You have a pressurized system. The boiling point of your coolant is over 235. You might be able to run 1 degree more timing by running it at 185-190 but you are going to sacrifice fuel economy and decrease the pcv system's ability to work.
