hardest part about doing a shifter in a C6 is getting the center consul to go back together ffs i hate doing that. me and a friend fought his C5 build the whole way did a ls2 swap with an ls3 top end on his 99frc the headers were a fucking pain.

Were you around back when i posted all of the pictures of the 402 LS2 we swapped into a C5 Z? Clutch, DTE brace, Pfadt mounts, MGW shifter, kooks, borla, vararam, fast, trickflow 235s, custom cam, etc?

Was fun. The headers were a bit scary and i was nominated to drill and tap the knock sensor relocation holes, but other than that i enjoyed it. Nothing like being in charge of completely disassembling someone else's Mallet C5Z at 19 or 20.

I'm not a fan at all, but I'm not a big Eco fan in the first place

In my opinion it looks like a hack job

Good parts. The shifter is great once it breaks in.

My driving position in a vette is awkward. i'm 5' 10" With a 78" reach. The shifter is always too close. The guy that owned that Z is 6' 5".
