when i was in ait is when they were starting to phase out the bdu's for the new acu's, i retained my bdu's / was the last or second last "class" to get them. I went in at 17 out of high school in 05 and was discharged when i was 19 for back injury. i was done with ait for 6-7 months before the back injury and discharge.

But you did airborne and sapper training too. That's another 2 plus months. That doesn't even leave time for a deployment.

deployment is relative on what you mean by it. Some people ( like a coworker of mine) considered getting shipped to gitmo as deployment ( he is an MP)

i dont look at it as that, i just look at it as orders as thats the document u get when getting re stationed like when i got my orders for south korea

LOL

i didnt actually get that rating till 2 years ago. After like 6 years of sleep study testing and a whole fuckload of psyc appointments they came to the conclusion that i have ptsd and adjustment disorder with depressed mood. it has to do more or less with the discharge itself and my back injury then anything combat related.

It all started years ago when i got discharged and had gotten severe insomnia afterwards. I would go 3-4 days without sleeping and the days i would sleep it would never be more then 3-4 hours. id fall asleep driving all the time at complete random almost like narcolepsy so i called the va and they made be a bunch of sleep study appointments. Well come to find out that i have severe insomnia and hypersomnia. I havnt gotten more then 5 hours of sleep in a single night since my discharge like 8 years ago. The multiple sleep studies they did showed i only get 1.5-2 hours of restorative sleep / dream state sleep a night, which about 1/4 of the very minimum a person should get. Which would make the odd hallucinations make sense. So they put me through this whole long process of psychiatrist and EEG test appointments and what not and gave me that rating.

It wasn't something that i went in for and ask for a rating for.. it was more or less, i was falling asleep driving and wanted to know what was up and in the end they just said "these are your issues, and this is what caused/is causing it" and they gave me a rating for it because it service connected. I cant even remember what 6 hours of sleep is like. Like last night, i got off the pc at like 2am, and i was up at 445 this morning already. thats how it is everyday and it sucks cuz i cant remember the last time i woke up and didnt feel exhausted. Its a shitty way to live but there isnt anything i can do about it which is why the permanent and total disability rating they gave me. On a good note, i get a lot of shit done in one day lol.. hence all those side jobs and college classes i do. i cant sleep so i have fill my day with stuff

LOL i havnt played rift in a while actually, hanvt raided in over a year.. id do pvp now and then as most of my subs on my YT channel are for rift but yeah, i been playing a lot of ff14 and bf4.

as for drugs i dont take them. i like my internal organs intact.

they did give me a sleeping pill of some sort on a few of the sleep studies i had and the gain was only 15 minutes of restorative sleep. The damage the drugs will do to the body over time is more then the gain of 15 minutes of sleep would be.

The tinted tails make the bloated challenger look even fatter. IMO leave the red to break up the rear a bit.

All joking aside, have you ever tried smoking weed to help with this?

yes, my most recent ex got me to try it, i had high hopes but it didnt do anything other then make me get to sleep quicker but the length and quality of sleep i got didnt change. she had indica and sativa strains and none if it was short of potent - 75$-90$ an eighth stuff, which in wisconsin is expensive as fuck. Regular nugs around here is 45-50 per 1/8.

i gave it a whirl for two weeks ( this was only a couple months ago) and to no avail
