im not dodging that at all, facts still remain, the viper has more track records and lap times, everything, vs the slowvette.

which is why the viper is 6th fastest on the ring and slowvette is 12th.

dodge is the only american car in the top 10.

its simple why that is, because dodge is a performance company and gm is not. if that wasnt true then gm would have a high performance version of every vehicle on their lineup like dodge does.. but alas, they dont.

overall, bone stock, the viper wipes its ass with the corvette. it always has

the team oreca viper won almost literally every single race, every single year that it was running.
when you go full aftermarket like most corvettes, there isnt anything factory in the car anymore so its not even gm/corvette at that point.. unlike the viper, where it retains most of its stock stuff because not many mods other then weight reduction stuff is needed.

Lol? The nurburgring? Those are street cars. Dodge ran that time with a prepped race version of the viper. How can you call a optioned out car that ran <10 seconds slower over a 7 minute lap anything but a performance car. To most people it's more impressive. That's why the vette wins all of the 1v1 shootouts.


We were talking real race wins though. Show me what dodge has won. It took 30 seconds to find team corvette's stats. I don't see how they could have won much in the last 15 years since corvette finished 1-2 in half of the races in ALMS. Dodge is continuing their losing streak to the C7R now. That's the 3rd generation of domination.

The C5r, C6r, and c7r have been the development platform for the Z06. Their factory race car shares the frame, engine, and suspension with the street car.
